Most household policies do not cover you for accidents while you are playing golf, such as accidentally hitting another person, being injured yourself, or having your golf equipment stolen or damaged. Get complete peace of mind for less than £1 per week with GolfInsurance4U.com

What do you mean by Golfing Equipment?

We mean your golf bag, golf clubs, umbrella, trolley and specialist golf clothing (golf tops, golf trousers, waterproofs, shoes etc). We also cover small items such as balls, tee markers, tees etc up to a maximum of £100 per claim.

Golf carts or buggies are not included. Range finders are not included.

What Value should I insure my Golf Equipment for?

At GolfInsurance4U we have levels of cover to suit all circumstances. To work out how much cover you will need please take into account how much you paid for your clubs, woods, putter, additional wedges, golf bag, trolley, shoes, waterproofs and other golf clothes. Always use the new, undiscounted cost (including VAT) from a store or supplier.

Our most popular policy - Gold level - covers you for up to £3,000 of golf equipment for well under £1 per week.

What if I Accidentally Injure another Golfer?

This is every golfers worst nightmare. How many times have you seen a badly struck ball fly past another golfers head - or even yours? It happens - there are thousands of accidents on golf courses every year, and if you have caused one then you could be open to a claim from the injured third party (or their family in the event of death). In the worst circumstance this claim could be for £millions, but there are many instances of golfers having to pay out at least £10,000 to others they have accidentally injured. Also, do not make the same mistake many make and assume that you are covered against such an incident in the green fees you have paid - especially abroad.

At GolfInsurance4U all our Worldwide policies have £5M of Personal Liability cover as standard, giving you the peace of mind that wherever you play you are covered against the worst.

What if I have an Accident on the Golf Course?

There are more accidents on golf courses than you may think. The most common is slipping or falling when off the fairway, but there are many others. At GolfInsurance4U we cover all eventualities

What if I get a Hole in One in a Tournament or recognised Competition such as the Monthly Medal?

Firstly, stop dancing around on the tee. Then stop worrying about the bar bill when you get back to the Clubhouse. We will pay between £150 and £500 towards that bill depending on the cover level you purchased.

Please remember to get a receipt for the round, and also get the Club Secretary to sign and validate your card, as we will need to see both with your claim. Unfortunately we cannot cover Holes in One in general play, you will have to pay for those!
